I've worked with people whose part of their job was to pick up the bodyparts afterwards, only for the sake of those people I wouldn't of wanted him to fall off.

It's done occasionally over here, there was a picture of no less than three teenagers hanging off the back of a NSE train, mocking the CCTV cameras by waving at them

LMAO!
The Trainsurfer
It does look pretty fun though

They've tried it in Perth aswell but we have 25000 volt overhead wires above all our train tracks. The surfers don't get very far here but they do make good Roman candles.

Seen that before on youtube by mistake once.
Was looking for a vid of a stream train for my 2 year old son.
When you use the search on youtube it automatically starts playing the top hit which in this case was a 5 or 6 year old child been hit by a train.
Luckily my son was looking the other way at the time.
Emailed youtube and asked for them to remove it.

When the series 'RailCops' was on BBC1, they were called out to a suspected suicide. The suicide was successful and they showed what was left. A torso covered in blood and mangled clothing And this was before 9'o Clock

it aint pretty I can image - if someone wants to top themselves there's pretty little society can do.

Incredibly annoying way of doing yourself in. I was trapped in London for four hours once while they scraped someone off the tracks.
The driver will probably have it on his conscience for the rest of his life.
Admittedly you are not thinking of that sort of thing when killing yourself.

Aye. Pretty shocking.
Imagine being trapped in London . . . .

Almost all the trains in Perth have run over atleast one person there is one that is getting close to the dozen mark.
In Perth we get atleast one fatality every 4 to 6 weeks sometimes more often.
It happens so often the drivers even have slang names for how people put themselves under the trains.
I can only remember one and that is a 'Grinner'
Thats the one that runs infront of the train, squats down and jumps up just as the train hits them so their grinning face is smeared all over the drivers window,
Right that's enough on this grisly topic, time to get back to steam

I would share my own story, but as tmuir said, back to steam
