And the winner is.....Murphey. Murph took part in his first jumping type competition last weekend and came first in his class. Ok, it was a small class (7 horses) but it was still a win. The competition was held at our stables so I spent last Saturday night pooh picking the field after having 47 horses visit. It took ages. The compost heap is even bigger. I've never seen so much shit and what have I got out of it, a bloody bit of chewed cardboard and red ribbon on the fridge door (that's going to the stables soon as well). Anyway a few pics of Murph doing his winning thing.

Just how big is your place Manxman?
If your stables had rrom for 47 horses maybe you should move all the horses out and move you mobile in as it sounds like it would give them more room to grow.
Congrats on the win

Oh no, it's not that big. Two small stable blocks (One is four stables, Our 3 horses and the forth with feed etc in at the moment) and the other block is just a general dumping ground but could be cleaned up for 2 more horses and a big store for all the bits.
The land round the stables is divided into 4 parts so the horses can move round a bit and one area is used for grass, for winter feed.
The other horses last week were just visitors. So stay in boxes or on the field during the day, shit all over the place and then go home. Murph gets to visit one of them next.
