I am useing some fire lighters, i know i shouldnt, but i am low on other fuel and it takes a fair bit of heat to make the engine work properly.
meths just cant manage.
Mamod tablet are in a solid block, i used some of them, but i like a bit of smoke from firelights.

but it can be cleaned

The firelighters certainly give it an authentic smokey look, and as you say it can be cleaned.

Very nice but I have found that with some of the early engines they have lead flywheels which are very easy to melt.
