Another new memberHello to all, I'm new here and think this is a very nice forum. My name is Ed and I have been retired for 11 years.
I have 8 steamers that keep me occupied, from a Marklin 4097 to a Fleischmann 120/2. I very much enjoy this hobby and I think this forum will help me keep enjoying steamers. Regards..Ed

That makes it a 4097/6, the number on the firebox door tells you the size of the boiler. Which paint style is it?
Is it like mine? (dynamo addition makes it 4097/91/6)
or is it the later paint style?

Welcome Ed from Indiana, USA.
You might have "only" 8 engines, but we welcome folks with 1 to 101 (and then some). Hanging around this bunch is likely to grow your numbers, but maybe you are content with what you have and that is great too.

Welcome to the forum Ed!
You've come to a great place for what is obviously already a personal passion. Some fine engines you have in your stable. Like the others, I look forward to seeing some of them in stills or videos!

Hi, Ed
and welcome from Germany. Classic engines are an absolutely good start. I am more into rail and road steam but here every one who likes steam is welcome no matter what kind of steam engine he/she prefers.
