Another one joinsHi, thought I had better break the Ice. I only came across this site last week when surfing. I have been interested in Mamod's since I was thirteen. Bought my first TE1a for £6 7s 6d, still got it along with twenty two other Mamod's plus accessories, some modified during restoration. I am in the process of setting up a website so I can post pictures of said modifications, one of which is a Showmans engine. I have been a member of the now Toy Steam News since 2000, and have been exhibiting my 'ware's' in the local Steam Fairs model tents since 1996. I have slowed down now as Mamod wreck's are difficult to find as they are all on Ebay at silly prices. Hoping to find inspiration for the next project here. |
