Bike Tracks in Kalamunda

After looking at Wallaces post he gave me the idea of looking up Kalamunda on Youtube which is where I live. I'de never thought of doing that before and found one interesting clip.
It shows some of the places to ride your bike in Kalamunda.

I haven't ridden my bike for a while and I should get back into it.
I don't use the bike ramps shown in the vid and I don't use the more extreme tracks but I do ride through a number of tracks like the ones in the vid.

For those that like cross country riding you cant beat Kalamunda.

OUCH!!!

So far have never fallen off my mountain bike.
I have once or twice quickly exited the bike as I knew if I didn't I would face-plant myself and hope to keep my record of no serious falls.
James

I have, head first into nettles

The vids titled - This is riding, it is until you come off. I used to do a lot of off road/XC/down hill stuff on mountain bikes and have had some real nasty 'smashes'

You've done well then

Mine was my own fault.

I was wearing thongs (for our US friends, flip flops?), flying down a disused 4WD beach access track.
Thong snapped (between my toes), foot came off, and I somehow catapulted.

Snapped right front tooth.

I learnt my lesson

One of those moments that was so painful, I only wish it was on video

Never fallen off my bike, probably becausei noly used it 3 times

LOL. Much safer that way mate

I'd like to ride to work sometimes, but the road is too deadly here.

People either run you off the road deliberately, or the occasional ones get pushed off their bikes by passengers in the car

This is for those riders on the road that try use the whole lane (which for some reason they are legally entitled to)

Road to work is too narrow

Plus I'd have to get up earlier, which is a big no no for me

I agree Wallace! Just hop in the car, it's easier
