Bolt questionthis is kind of a silly question.
On a projec i want to to, it involves 1/4" snap head rivets. i want to replace these with bolts, which makes things alot easier.
What would be a suitable size bolt for 1/4"

0.25 inch [international, U.S.] = 6.35 millimeter

Might use 6 mm bolts if the .35 slop would be ok....1/3rd of a mm...roughly.
Or i could be all wrong here?..... I do not work in metric BUT have found metric to be a easy fit in a inch application sometimes,.,.when you need a little clearance or a tighter fit ,find the closest metric size.

thanks Jim
after closer inspection, i have noticed that the rivets are 3/16", not 1/4"
so i think that falls into the BA sizes.
