Bowman M158Here is my Bowman M158 steaming. The video is very poor quality and has no sound, but better than nothing. It steamed for 13 minutes and 50 seconds using cold water at the start and it was the burner that went out that stopped it because there was plenty of water left.

I could go on forever about how good the Bowman is. And I'm sure SM and Mike will back me up.

The burner on my Bowman only lasts for about 12 minutes. Are yours like that SM?

To be honest I've never ran one long enough to find out.
I get very cautious about running these old engines. I love to see them run, but I could never forgive myself if I damaged one. I run them for a few minutes then stop them. (Silly, but I'm afraid of running them dry.)
Once I get a bit more confidence I may try a full steam.

Well trust me SM this M158 can have two burner fillings of meths with only one water filling and there's still plenty of water left at the end. I have the same worry, but I always let the burner run out so it doesn't stink of meths afterwards.

Good thinking Steely, but I always have that nagging doubt.
Gotto go now Mate. Hope to see you tomorrow.
