IN "decent" original condition



Bit of solder here that i'll sort out, which means i'll have to polish it..oh well Look away members of the "oily rag" brigade







I'll leave the paint on the cylinder though

That's nice! It's interesting to see the colour of the original green base.... quite yellowish. Are you going to tidy the solder around the safety valve? You've got a nice selection of Bowmans now!

Funny you should say that Steve, Does anyone know the exact colour of Green that Bowman used i.e. Make of aerosol and the name of the green.

I’m doing up my E101 and I think the originals have a green band around the wooden base!

Yes, they do. I'm not sure what the nearest available colour is though.

I used Forests dark green Mamod TE1a paint on a 101 base once, wasn't too far away from the original. Had to laquer it to give it a shine though

Ahem, mine isnt as new looking, but does come from the Temple, I am like a kid at Christmas again, this has been quite a year for me Steamwise.

You will really like the Bowman, mine goes really really well



It has the cylinder cover, but I took it off for trouble shooting when it ran poorly.

Does the cover just screw off? pop off?

Cleaned up as well as I could. The excess solder has been removed because it looked awful. Anyway, it's a nice little engine now  









I'll get a family photo soon, I think I have four Bowmans now
