I don't think I'd ever have birds as a pet, too noisy and high maintenance

Mine used to chase the end of my pencil as I did my homework, then would perch on the end of my pencil like a heavy pencil topper. When that got boring he would peck the corners of the pages.

I like budgies.

He used to get bad tempered in the evenings though. Put a finger in his cage and he would have it off. But during the day he was a real sociable fellow.
Mamodman123

We had a grouchy one before these two and he used to rip the wall paper off

Budgies are no trouble and mean no harm

Can speak aswell!
Wallace

Nice one MM. I really like the white one. That is only the 2nd white one I have ever seen.

Are they expensive over there?

Not sure what they are here, except a hand raised one is about 10pound?

I used to breed budgies, did it for about 10 years, stopped around 12 years ago.

Great birds, low maintenance, hard as nails, loads of fun. They all have great personalities.

Why I thought more Irish people lived in the US than lived in Ireland.

At one time, perhaps...they've been pushed aside in favor of Mexicans now.
