BurnersHello all,There are Meth burners, Spirit burners and Gas burners. My question is. Are there Gel-burners ? My Engines are still running on Esbit, and i modified my Esbit burner to use it with Gel, but thats not a good solution. Are they for sale? Happy Steaming

Not seen any Gel burners for sale as i know some on here use a solid fuel burner and line it with foil inside. | ||||

Why would you want to use gel? I'm confident that Spiritus from the supermarket (not the "bouwmarkt") is much cheaper. | ||||

I know Paul. I use Spiritus for my Mamod engines. One bottle of gel cost 69 cents by (AH). Just wanted to try it, and works fine

It's a very clean burn and seems to generate more heat IMHO. |

Are you talking about Sterno? My Midwest engine uses it and works well. I prefer gas as it is very easy to control the heat. |
