BusyBodies

How's this for fast service. These figures cost quite a lot but they are loads of fun and I think are going to look just right. And, yes, I even got my very own Fred.

James

Woooooow

Fred Dibnah!

What a legend!!!!!!

I want the one where he has a pint of Guinness in his hand!
CCairns

Love the 'Fred' BusyBody, at least he is not smoking like your other characters. As James says 'where's his pint?'.

Chris Cairns.
Sandman

Jeez that's a great Fred model.

Just captures the man.

Marvelous.
Manxman

Ah, I should have done Fred with this engine. A Steam4fun Mamod TE1a.

I think I may just have to get some of these 'Busybody' figures. I might even commision one of me It would look great on my Wilesco Roller.
steamyjim

I have to agree. My Auld is just so much a toy. I love the red end cap and it seems the perfect model to go with toy steam figures.
Rob

huh, thats realy neat how they can make ones to look like you, i might get some for my railway.
Rob
tmuir

They look great Manx.
I am just waiting on an email back with some photos so I can choose one of the figures for my Roundhouse Loco.
Love the Fred one.
Manxman

Thanks Tony. It's another purchase I'm making you responsible for. Busy Bodies also make an interesting kit of a trailer. I'm just thinking if I could justify getting myself one as an early Christmas present.
Cranko

Good one Manx , they really look the part

Why don't you email Busy Bodies and ask them.

Hi Rob,

Looks very like the IP Engineering Lister Loco - see here http://www.ipengineering.co.uk/page40.html

They won't haul many mamod waggons, becuase they're not too powerful. Dinorwic Quarry had one but, there wasn't many slate quarrys which had Listers.

My friend owns one, so when he takes it to railways I get a go.
steamyjim

Isnt there one at the FR that has a steam engine fitted to the Lister chassis??? I think you showed me a pic on MSN once will
MTA

I think we have 2-3 Lister Autotrucks at Amberley. They are very nice, and at next year's gala we are trying to get as many Lister's together as possible!! A couple of years ago we had 5 of them together hauling the Groudle Glen set

No, that is another contraption owned by my friend who has a Lister. It's in Blaenau Ffestiniog. It wouldn't be allowed on Ffestiniog tracks, it's not even HMRI approved!
bessytractor

those figures are excellent! I might have to get one for Bessy!
steamyjim

I've had one of me and my grandad commisioned for my locos. Should be getting them soon
Manxman

I'm looking forward to the results. Don't forget to post a pic.
steamyjim
