Cheap Green Mamod Loco (SL1) for projectA non runner would be fine, although I will not say no to a cheap runner!
Most important is to have bodywork in good condition, including cab back
Boiler condition unimportant, as long as smokebox is OK
Cylinders would be upgraded, so condition - or even presence! not important.
Burner not required.
Buffers, red bufferbeam plates and rear dragbox not required. (Principally because it will have chopper couplings fitted)
Everything else on the loco would be desirable, but not neccesary. It just means I would have to source the parts elsewhere and the price paid would reflect this.
I am keeping an eye out on ebay but there does not seem to be much about at the moment!

It seems that this is a common request here. You don't think we have created a Mamod loco deficit do you? I'm even getting tempted by an MSS one due to the lack of them on ebay!
Sorry I can't be of any help, I'm on the scrounge for similar stuff too!
