Completed my Fleischmann

Hey!
It's done: My fleischmann steam engine is complete.
I was lucky and got the chimney and the lead weight very cheap.
Those were the missing parts.
Engine has got a meths burner (inside)

The 3rd pic shows some figures i found in the flea market..got also the oil-man and the mechanist. All a bit broken, but will try to sort out somehow.

Les Marsh

That is a beauty, so are the other two. I know one is a Falk, whats the other one? Is it a Doll?

Yepp, you're right
Left ist the Doll, right the Falk
And in the backgrond it is a print cover of an old 1920 Meccano-Marklin Box....box is gone but i saved the cover and framed it

Sandman

Beautiful stuff Mirko.
Manxman

Excellent stuff Mirko. Those figures will be good if you can fix them. Where is the man in blue from. He's not part of the current Wilesco range?

I have four figures, two bigger and two smaller ones.
I think they are all wilesco, but one older generation and one younger i think
James

Looks great Mirko!

Yours is quite alot different to mine!

Bit disappointed that it has that type of chimney, I were hoping it would have one of the really tall ones with the nice cap on the top!

These type of chimneys were only produced pre WWII
After that they used to make chimneys like this.
James

Hi,
a very good trick is this one:
If you want to know, how ling the chimney has to be for your statinary engine...just take the measure, how long the whole firebox is...and thats quite the exact measure how long the chimney has to be....
mogogear

Ohhhh!!!   Thumbs up!  I love things like that!!!

Thanks  and John thanks for the look at the top end as well
