I had a Bowman 300 arrive today, which completed my collection of Bowman locos!
Les
What an exquisite line up, well done Nick.
Graham-Jilly
lovely lineup there Nick well done
Sandman
Brilliant line up there Nick.
You can't beat a bit of Bowman.
johnreid
Quite a nice line up too, have you tried them on track yet?
MooseMan
Wonderful Nick!
You haven't got a spare 410, have you?
IndianaRog
Wow Nick...not many can say they have them all. I especially like the small one, I've not seen that model before.
steamgranny
That has to be quite an achievement & what a beautiful sight.
Congratulations!
Nick

The only two I have tried are the 234 & the 410. The 234 gets run a lot!
The 265 arrived just a couple weeks ago and the 300 today. I hope to run them all again soon, and I have a Bassett Lowke Mogul on the way!

I wish I had a spare one. I'm afraid to run mine much because the paint is so nice. You find me an old beater 410 and we can work out some kind of trade.

Rog, the small one can be seen in this video I made a few months back (the cylinder is in the cab):

Oh that is good. It's so great when you have a full set of engines like that and they all look so right together.
scalex

Thanks Al! When are you going to fire up your 410?

Lovely Bowman collection, Nick! I really like the 300 and 410. I have not previously seen a black 300...
johnreid
I believe that on some the green darkened from heat. I bet that is the case with Nicks.
AzRob
Whoa, spinning around makes me dizzy! Nice locos.
Nick
No, it is painted black and looks original. Has anyone else seen a black one?:
johnreid
I see green where the paint appears to be chipped or worn, I bet it was repainted. Locomotives should be black though
Nick
John, I'm not sure where you are seeing the green. (But I have only seen green and maroon Bowman locos)
I'll post some closeups of the chips tonight.
I agree that they should be black.

I circled the areas, not green? THe new Cornea might be fooling me
Nick
That's just the dull brass showing through. When I post some closeups, that might help.

Must be lit with Incandescent or fluorescent light, those give a yellow or green cast. In the picture it sure looks green.
Who knows, maybe they did? As I said before Locomotives should be black so the color goes well. The decals and pin stripes look to be authentic
