sure is a pretty thing Clinton.  If it's too stiff and you have access to an air supply, run it in for 10 hours or so on low level air, enough to keep it turning over.  Lubricate with synthetic motor oil (like Mobil 1) for the air breakin period, then steam oil when you run it on steam.

They are wonderful engines.

i think that 1 is an older model?? anyway that 1 gonna be Glenn & Liz's soon.

took new one over to model engineer mate i've known for 20 years,

hooked engine up to air ran beautifully. no vid though.

Almost bought that engine from forest classics a few weeks ago. But, for a few more US dollars I opted to purchase the kit directly from Cotswold Heritage as I enjoy assembling these little devices.  I'm excited and can't wait for mine! As of now they are on back order so I must wait. Make a video of it doing some real work for us!

Lovely engine and in the nicest colour!
You may want to check that the exhaust port is machined to accept a pipe fitting.
