Crank for a wilesco d6 - or measurements SORTEDHey all,
Does anyone here happen to have a crank for a D6, or is anyone able to supply me with measurements? Centre to crank pin is really all I need to know.
Thanks,
Moose

What is the stroke of the D6? Divide that in 2 and thats your center to crank measurement..
Why do you need to know?

11mm as near as I can measure with a steel rule (i.e. near enough). Shaft diameter is about 4mm, crank pin diam 3mm, length 55mm.

I have a D6 minus crank.....not 100% sure of the stroke as the piston doesn't fully utilise the cylinder.

Shaft diameter is exactly 4mm, I measured it with a digital caliper.

You da man!
Would you be able to take some pics of the steam pipe where it goes into the portface as well?
David Curtis very kindly gave me a "to be restored" D6 when he visited here to pick up his big boat.

Might as well - you never know who needs them. No rush though mate.

Hi Moose - is this part any good to you? It is an early type D6 crank end that is threaded to take the 4mm crank shaft - you would only need the pully and shaft then. If you want it just PM me your address and I will post it off to you.
