Dauntless' TE1This is the TE1 I bought in pieces off e-bay In this Thread I will catalogue my progress with the engine hopefully to a successfull firing of the engine.

I've been down to Devon today whistle stop tour of Dawlish, Dawlish Warren, Teignmouth, Babbacombe, Torquay....
checked my e-mail tonight and was quite shocked...

I like Dawlish and Dawlish Warren, Teignmouth, Torquay (especially) Babbacombe around that area! very nice places to visit We go every year!
I think we were all shocked especially when i woke up to see the forums closed. I just couldn't believe it. Looks like the TE1 is coming along nicely, how far are you into the resto now then?

Yes they are lovely areas,
I'm sort of stuck where the pictues show at the moment trying to source some Heat Resistant Gloss Black Paint.
I did buy a tin of the original Apple Green from Forest Steam the other day.
