There is a cracker on display at the STIA.
There is a clip of it in action on the forum DVD.
Awesome.

There is. And it's bloody good. Made last year for all those of us who couldn't go to STIA by Sandy. Totally brill, very professional and cost very little.
I really hope someone can do the same again next year.

Hey James, is this DVD available on line, and if so could you post a link to the site where we could purchase it?
Not just for the cover art of course...

Just drop our Sandman a PM. He is the producer. I believe postage is the same whether you live in England or Australia!

Even if in PAL it is a big temptation, I will have to check and make sure I would have a way to view it first. I think one of the players on my PC plays PAL but I am not certain.

I'm not sure, but I don't think PAL/NTSC makes any difference for DVDs. The player and the TV must be compatible, but the DVD itself is just digital data.
However, what does make a difference is the grouping. Commercial DVDs have "groups" depending on where in the world they are sold. Ordinary DVD players have group restricted software so that they can only play DVDs of the same group.
Having said all that, I've a feeling that computer DVD drives don't have the restriction. The same may apply to home-made DVDs. As I said, I'm not sure about all this but I'm sure Sandy will know.

It makes no difference what system your player uses for DVD playback. As Roly says, the only problem is region coding.
As my DVDs are region free they will play on any DVD player.
Hope this helps.
