Does anyone have more engines on thier desk than me?I don't think there would be many people who do
It's actually only a temporary thing.
We are having new flooring put in, in the games room, kitchen, informal dining room, formal dining room and front entry. So all my steam engines that were in the games room have come up to live on and around my PC for the duration of the works. I also have another 13 engines on the furniture and floor behind my PC at the moment and yes that is dust on the engines.
Our front entry had tiles taken up and the grout had to be sanded off so even though we covered stuff with sheets there still is dust everywhere and I'm guessing there will be for months to come.
Even my AC stopped working as the filters where clogged solid with cement dust.

Is that a Fleischmann accessory box at the back I can see, if so, what's in it.

Yes it is.
It was a gift from Manx for helping him get a couple of NZ mobiles.

I dont have engines, but plans and sketches for on and 3 steam related book, plus the parts for the windmill blades.
I know how you feel with the dust, I have sanded the board floors in 3 houses and the last room done I sealed around the door from the out side and inside and then climbed in throught the window to get access, but still there was dust thought the house....

It is built from a kit by an English company Roundhouse.
http://roundhouse-eng.com/
You buy it as 3 seperate kits so you can spread the cost.
Including postage but not paint or radio controls it cost me about £800 so is by far my most expensive steam toy.

The only reason I got one was because I sold my car.
Got a job that provided a company vehicle for personal use and that saves me over $5000 a year so thought I would treat myself to a loco.
I've been told I'm not allowed another one.
