Duck Steam Tool Time!So since it is need for steam time I decided to do something I've done before but try to get better views of the tools themselves.
I would say these displays have something for everybody

Thanks, Kenneth. It's incredibly fun to have them mounted and watch the tools do their thing

Very nice, and I like how the sound of the engines match the different setups, from the old "chuff-chuff" sound of the Bing to the more modern sound of the Wilesco.

Very enjoyable to watch thanks for posting. I think he needs some green belting so his Marklin fan works better. I all so have never seen what I beleive to be a Marklin double stone grinder before.

Thank you all
The big grinder is Märklin and has a cast hood that flips so it can be used from both sides.
The double gronder is something of a mystery.
I haven't seen it in the catalogs I have access to online but it has Märklin parts and the real stones so I see no reason to doubt the identity.

I use to have the big single grinder at one time with other Marklin machines. The reason I guessed Marklin on the smaller double stone is the color but who knows.

It has the Märklin 30s stamp on the bottom but that's no guarantee

I can't get the stupid Photobucket to quit buffering and just show the darn thing.
I would like to watch, but not going to wait 10 minutes for poopbucket to load up.

Thanks for the kind comments
I'm sadly stuck with PB it seems and that can be annoying. I think it is their reliance on Flash that causes the arbitrary behaviour.
I have never run them one right after the other and it was interesting to say the least but most of all fun

I like running my engines with some "actual" work for them to do. It both looks and sounds better
