Dynamo and stamp machineFrom my collection are two accessories
First is a Schoenner Stamp Machine ca: 1904 (well, that's the way it was presented to me)

Second is EP Dynamo, which is clearly marked. Will have to consult with Mirko as to date of manufacter

Wow those are real classy, wonderful items.

Very, very nice, Al.
But now you are entering the uncharted waters of accessories. References are incomplete and because of the complex company histories it is quite often impossible to obtain an exact ID or model number.
Welcome to a world of uncertainty.

Those are two of the nicest accessories I have seen, thanks for sharing them with us.
As Richard said, finding dates and model numbers can very difficult, but rewarding when you do.

Great items there Al.
I'm sure Mirko will help with the dating.

First of all: very nice models
Then: the plank dynamo is actually a plank motor!
So it does not generate power, it is for driving models!
As is already says: 2,4 Volt is the maximum voltage you can let it run with.
The stamping machine: don't know exactly, but sure looks like schoenner to me!

Oh forgot the dates:
Stamping machine: early 1900-1910
Plank motor: ca. 1920-30

Thanks for the info.
Have only recently learned of Babel fish to translate.
Thought I was buying a dynamo
Still like it though-I'm fond of all EP material and someday would like to add a Plank walking beam-think I'll wait a long time before one of those show up!

You better be careful! Those plank walking beam engines that turn on on ebay are 96% fakes
Look, this one is also a fake:

Who make the fake ones Mirko?

Went to the site and out of the two would think it's the first listed that is the fake?

Yes, it is the first one wich is the fake
I think i heard that the dutchmen make very good copies of this engine (as that plank is a very sought after engine wich is highly priced)

Nice stuff Al.
We should meet up some weekend! I dont have much in the way of really cool old stuff like you, but I have some nice scratchbuilt stuff, and nice engines.
