Ebay Etiquette

I noticed a recent bit of tooing and froing between members over bidding on ebay. Is there any etiquite between members, or is it as it should be, winner takes all. I don't want to tread on anyones toes but I think you should be able to bid what you like if you win great, at leat it going to another enthusiast

Cheers

Totally agree, it's an open market, bid on whatever you like. Occasionally though, it's worth declaring an interest as, if it's something you really want, and I'm just making an opportunistic bid for example, then I would drop out and avoid driving the price up.

Totally on a voluntary basis though.

Agree totally with Yosa. Bid on what you want if you beat me I may make a joking comment that you beat me for the item but its an auction, it goes to the highest bidder.
But if something comes up that you are REALLY after and about to place a huge bid lit us know so we don't drive the price up more than it needs to go.
Of course if its a rare item we all want its a free for all.

I would rather see it going to one of us than one of them.

Winner takes it all but if you decalir an interest someone will probably pull out and not push the price up!

I was looking through his feedback last night and he buys Weeden engines I think they are for about 20 pounds, polishes them and paints them up and sells them for over 100

SPOKESMAN

At the end of the day its an auction - free for everyone to have a pop - if we all express an interest it'll be nice . . .

But its everyman for himself if an SE4 or MM2 twin comes up!!

That my position on it!!!

EXbay etiquitte

Thanks everyone for your advice/ attitude to ebay bidding & good to see we have an easily accesable list. Fully understandable about rare items. Come on the rest of you, get you ebay ID's on the list so we don't un-necessarily drive the price up.

Cheers
