edrig updateedrig has had a few bits done to it recently.
* means they arent in the picture
they are-
-red rods
-wooden buffers
-painted chimney cap
-darj lamp
-painted drains
-front brass bits on cylinders painted black
-painted reg
-painted reverser
-bbq black painted smokebox, which is close to matt black. but seems to dry properly when fired up.
-bucket
-new exaust pipe, not chuff pipe, now sounds similar to a coal fired edrig*
-smoke deflector, which is more to deflect water and oil*
- vacume pipes*
next will come some multi height coplings, or somthing diffrent. if i can find some that will fit the edrig buffer holes.
new steps
creme painted cab
maybe some rectangular buffer beams.
maybe rivited tanks
maybe new smokebox
and possibly a new back, one without the hole, and maybe a painted boiler in the cab.

Looks good Andy!
Word of warning though, I remember clearances on the portable layout being very tight, (It was really designed for Mamods after all), particularly around the bottom cutouts of the bufferbeam. I notice that your wooden buffers overhang these cutouts, so it might not go round the layout without the buffers hitting things!
However if you do come to Mestham there will be plenty of other layouts for you to run on if there is a problem!

Well it would do, with it being a model of a Darjeeling and Himalayan Railway lamp

Don't worry about trivialities like that! I did not know anyone at Merstam the first time I went - 1988 I think it was - and I still blagged a run with Titan on several layouts. Most people are friendly and accomodating if you ask nicely!
