Wallace

That's another tricky one this month, but I went for something different
Mamodman123

Wow close this month!

Another Bowman so far
tmuir

Come on lets have a NZ engine win it this month!
(No its not mine)
Manxman

I'll go for something a bit different. Great engines again this month.
Cranko

If the all blacks cant win the world cup perhaps a piece of Kiwi inginuity can win this competition
mc_mc

Is there any way I can tell which one I voted for? It was such a close run thing that now I've forgotten!
tmuir

Sorry MC I don't think so, and I see the NZ engine has made a sudden sprint and is now infront.

Sounds like a serious problem you have there MC
Steve_S

Very hard, but in the end I went for one with a red base.

Another forum improvement?
tmuir

I'm busy working on another one at the moment MM.
tmuir

Only one more day to go and it could still go either way so if you haven't voted now is the time to do it.
Mamodevon

Ahh, how do you vote, where are the buttons??
Mamodevon

Got to go now but just to say I would have voted for the SL2, of coyrse

MD
Dauntless

oohhh a close run thing down to the wire this month !

come on! 43 votes so far keep em coming!

James

43 votes is the best so far, I have to say a big well done to everyone
tmuir

I would normally be closing this poll in a few minutes so it was changed midnight OZ time but as this is such a close run race will let it run until midnight GMT which means you have a few more hours to vote if you haven't yet.
Mamodman123

James will wish you did close it early now
tmuir

Quick someone else vote!
We can't have a draw!
James

Bloody hell like!
johnreid

So, will there be TWO engines for November? How would a draw be broken?
Cranko

46 votes from 238 members isn't a very high turn out
Mamodman123

ITs not bad really not all come on much!
Andy

well i have voted anyway
Cranko

It should have finished by now ,Has it
Wallace

It should have defintely finished now.

The NZ engine is the winner
tmuir

Yes NZ engine wins by a flywheel!
James

Ahh bugger me, lost by 1 vote

Well done Stitch, mate! That's a real nice engine!
Dauntless

congratulations Stitch

Stitch

Very close one this month!

Thanks to all that voted for my David Auld engine. Much appreciated and let me assure you that the cheque is in the mail

Seriously, I am grateful. It is the most favourite engine in my collection. A little different from other Auld engines as it doesn't have a safety valve.

The paint work is fantastic on it. It doesn't look like it has been steamed up. Let me assure you, it gets a good workout and the paint is like new. It also runs very well.

As weird as this sounds, I am more excited about winning this than I was about graduating with the doctorate a couple of weeks ago
Cranko

Congratulations on both counts stitch
steamyjim

Congratulations Stitch
Graham-Jilly

congrats Shaun on both accounts as well
tmuir

I must admit I wanted you to win and I saw at one point you were only a vote or two behind so posted to the poll to remind people to vote and hoped they voted for your engine and luckily they did.

I think this is the first engine not made in the UK or Germany that has won it, well done!

cheers, Tony. I appreciate that. To be honest, I was surprised that it won. A good range of engines as usual this month.
Glad I could, in a small way, restore some NZ pride
