First run of my SR1This was my first run after restoring my SR1.
I'm most impressed, this is my best runner for a mobile by a long shot.
It initaially only ran for 10 seconds but then I realised fly wheel was loose, tightened up the screw, flicked the fly wheel and off it went and just kept going, must of ran non stop for nearly 10 minutes.
At the start of the vid it is running real fast as it was at 15PSI with safety valve venting, after initial burst of speed it settled in for a good pace for the rest of the run.
Can't believe how well this runs compared to my roadster.

It's the best part of any resto or repair...the triumphant run! Well done, tmuir!
Why do you suppose SR1's seem to run better than other mobiles?

They aren't the heaviest in the world, and the engine units are very quick!, Holds less water than a TE1/a so I guess that's the reason, weight
