Flatbase Mamods x3 in need of restorationThough I would picture my 3 larger flatbases, all need bits doing, but not tricky, just an absence of time
SE1 crank- unusually the firebox is brass
Im sure its original
SE1 superheated. The burner is original, but the stopper is perished. Really needs a clean up, more a degrease
SE2 I think i may undo it from the meccano but keep it as its easy to put back together. This also needs degreasing/cleaning gently
All 3 together
Look foreward to doing them up a bit in time. The only base that needs painting is the SE1, as theres nout but shallow rust there at the moment

What a fantastic group of engines, I would be spending all of my time in the shop fixing them up. Such a fine collection.

Great to see 'em all, Atticman.
For those in need of a stopper, you can make a replacement:

just stuck a magnet on, and the brass is magnetic
It sure looks brassy at the bottom where the paints come off

Brassy coloured rusty stuff?
It's a nice engine though! the chimney should come off too like the pre-war Mamods

That certainly is a great group of engines to restore/clean, Atticman.
Looking forward to see the results.
