Flieschmann ProjectHi allWell here goes the concept of this project is to turn what i have got into a useable engine not exactly a restoration as i will have to deviate a little bit from originality but to build something that runs "under its own steam". we have made a start unsoldered boiler end caps,annealed boiler cylinder reduced the majority of the dents by tapping gently with a soft hammer while rotating the cylinder round a suitable mandrel and thats the progress so far. Great to hear the boiler was straightenable Paul; that must have taken some patience.
