getting the dispacement of a cylinderHow to get the displacement of a steam engine's cylinder
key:radius=the distance from one side of the cylinder to the other divided by 2. Height=the length from one end of the cylinder to the other. you will need a grafting calculator for this. These
measurments are from my D6, and are in cm.
Equasion= Volume=pi times radius squared times height.
Pi times .45 times .45=.6361725124
.6361725124 times 4=2.544690049 cubic cm
rounded equals about 2.54 cu. cm

this will also work for boilers, and anything cylindrical in shape.

Just fill the empty cylinder with water from a known measure, such as a syringe?
