Gloucestershire Steam & Vintage ExtravaganzaManaged to get a few hours here today- what a great rally it is
huge advantage being on an airfield is that the engines can happily
purr up and down the tarmac with no chance of getting stuck!
Fowlers ploughing engine to the right
A very good working display- a Marshall saw stand, powered by a large portable
One for our US members
I was really impressed by the bikes and cars, but didnt get to take any car pics
Most full size drove onto low loaders at the end of the day
This one towed its own car

Those are some great pics
It looks like someone has perfected the enlarging ray, and they have used it on a Mamod SW1
That saw was cool

Ive seen it with the huge campervans, but never on a live steam engine- I assume hes off to the next rally then

I was there on the Saturday when it rained an awful lot Was a good day! Didn't take any pictures so thanks for putting these up!
The engine with the trailer is the little Foster tractor, Ican'opit . It has an amazing turn of speed, it kept shooting past me on the Garrett roller; The Baroness that I was driving in the ring.

I was surprised how fast a lot of the Showmans could go as well
Didnt see any toy steam though Jim, few models of course, nothing for sale either.
Bet it was fun, but bumpy on the tarmac in a Garrett SR though

Nope not at all. We use an almost identical set up when we move the roller, the idea being that you take the engine to the next place it has to be and can drive home... also we use it to put alot of the water gear and coal in which we do if we just take the landy on an A frame if the living van isnt coming..
an A fram on the chassis and the Landy should self steer..
