St Marys row was 39-49 i think and the first single cylinder MM2 was 48 so around 48-49 sounds about right!

firing up your MamodIt is always a good idea to fire up all brass boilered engines on a regular basis because it can delay brass aging.
Some Mamods do suffer from this especially in the end caps. It is usually cause by the brass not being properly annealed after pressing to shape. Mamod engines are better in this respect that some of the older German engines. However I have seen a Mamod where the end cap looked more like Gruyere cheese.
A bad sign is if the end cap won't polish as well or if it looks very coppery. this may mean that the zinc is being leached out.
If you want to know more about this problem seach on "Dezincification of Brass" on your favourite web search engine.

id give him my left arm (im left handed) then me and you can combine like one of them megazords or whatever it was off powerrangers (hey, being about 7 was a long time ago, i cant remember ) then, from the dust, the ultimate mamodzord would kick ass and have the best collection (or maybe the worst to some people ) in the world!!

LOL well all we would need is that 1939 Minor 2
Then the world and collectors would have to worship us anyway

We could have a meths fueled flame thrower, and exploding solid fuel bombs
the solid fuel bombs would be enough to scare me away
|
James
|
LMAO
and pistols like sutcliffe oil cans that dribble cack everywhere, and make people fall over then we could force them to read one of andy ks essays from the last forum so they bore to death
and the other hand could turn into a flywheel, that spins real fast and cuts everything up
WAHAHAH everyone must worship mamod-zord!!

We'd eventually end up falling to bits because of the poor Mamod build quality these days
Obviously we would have competative fights with Wilesco-zords on a regular enough basis
|
James

lol!!
and BO-ZORDS. they are really good machines!
but wilesco-zords look so good. a couple of solid fuel grenades and there toast though.
