Got some rolling stock coming

Just got a couple of coaches that should go nicely with my 1920s Bing Loco.
Don't know if they are actually Bing carriages as the seller states but they look about the right vintage.
One of the carriages may be missing a coupling its hard to say for sure until I get it but if it is I'm sure I can make a replacement.

How much?

Got a bit of a bargain there.   :

Well done and I presume at $40 AU, thats a real bargain especially if they are Bing.

What amazes me is he had them listed originally for $50 OZ and I was going to bid on them and then forgot when the auction was finishing and missed them.
To my surprise no one else had bidded and he relisted then for $40.
I was going to be busy when the auction finished so I shoved my bid on 4 hours before they were due to finish and again no-one else bidded.
Old Hornby rolling stock usually sells for more than this in OZ.

Prices can be weird in OZ, common items can go for a lot but a rare item can go very cheap as there are not so many collectors in OZ and something not commonly seen people just don't know what they are so don't bid.
Suits me fine.

So cool, I hope you post better pictures ( video ) of them once you get them.

They look very small , do you think they will match your loco OK

Its to go with my single cylinder Bing which is considerably smaller than my other one.
Hornby rolling stock is too big for it so this will hopefully be about the right size.

Its to go with the one in the front of this picture.

Rob

All the locos in the photo are mine.
The green one at the back is a Roundhouse Lady Anne I built from their kits.

This thread has lots of photos of it being built in it.

and this is my unfinished website about building it. It is unlikely to every get finished but covers the chassis and valve gear.
