GreetingsHello!
I would really like to know, am I the youngest user in this forum (currently 13)? Well, it doesn't matter really. What matters, is that I wanna say hello to everybody in this forum and I hope, that I will not have any negative feedback while posting in this forum. By the way, greetings from Estonia (- it's a small country in Europe ) .
Soon I will start posting pictures of my homebuilt steam engine (currently under construction).
But for now, Good night. T.

Wow! I was stunned how many welcomes I received! Well, I will absolutely post pictures of my progress. Just to let You all know, that I hope it will be a two cylinder, single acting steam engine (the air is let in from the "back" of the cylinder and at the end of the stroke it will be exhausted). Judging by the Youtube videos I saw, my steamer is going to be a really ugly thing.. Maybe some paint will give the copper a little "steamengiener" look.
Oh, and a little disclaimer : Really sorry for my bad English. I'm still learning it.
Greets.

There's nothing wrong with your English it's better than many English people I know!
Your engine sounds interesting. Is that the "uniflow" system that you're talking about?

... welcome, Tim, from another small country: Austria! You'll find a lot of just good steam friends here on the forum! Good to have you with us, and we're looking forward to seeing some pix of your engine.
And don't worry: Your English is great - better than mine! Let me see if I can correctly spell your country's name: Eesti
How is Eesti correctly pronounced?
Viele Grüße aus Österreich!

Toxx, Your spelling is 100% right And the word "Eesti" is pronounced just like You read it. Only the "s" is soft like in "Start" and the "Ee's" are pronounced like in "Engine".
For that uniflow system - sorry, but I don't know, what kind of engine that is That's simply because I'm a beginner in steam machines (although, most common engine types and systems are clear to me.). I will post a new topic for my steam engine and start posting my progress there. The only problem is - I can only build it on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and in the weekends. Yup, that's my free time...
Greets.

Another late but very warm welcome from Richard and Andrew in the US Virgin Islands.
Look forward to seeing your engine.
Andrew just made nine and has five engines.
I don't think, however, that he is the youngest forum member anymore.
I believe that distinction now belongs to Miss Me.
