Griffin's small corner of JensenaliaRight, I have had a few additions to the Jensen collection of late, so thought I would do a family pic of the current line up.
So out came the trusty table cloth, and a few snap shots followed.
Jensen #5 (ex. Temple)
Jensen #10 (Cedge)
Jensen #25 (US eBay)
Jensen #20G (New 2007)
Jensen #55G (New 2007)
Jensen #15 generator (House of Moose)
Jensen #100 (Temple)
Jensen #100 Blue base (Temple)
Hope you all enjoy them.

Steve,
Absolutely enjoyable !!!!!
They are among the finest Jensen's anywhere. If I did not already have a round magnet #10, I would have wanted that one. If Steve hadn't made sure it was clean you might have found my fingerprints on it as I had handled it at a show when it's previous owner displayed it.

Steven,
What a great collection assembled and photographed beautifully. The trademark table cloth was a nice touch, I have seen it under a number of lovely Mamods.
It was nice to see a few alumni from the Temple of Steam...even Moose's #15 passed through here if I recall.
I think it safe to say no one in the UK has assembled as much Jensen cast iron based pieces as yourself and every one is a pristeen example. Not sure what to suggest next!!!!
cheers,
Rog

Steven, I just had to take a second look and yes, I noticed something you need to fix.
You need a BIGGER table and BIGGER tablecloth , you have about maxed those out
|
Griffin
|
Thanks for the kind words everyone
Rog, yes it was a bit of a sqeeze getting them all on the table
I was going to include the transformer in the pic as well, but the space ran short
I will post a couple of video's when I get chance. I need to do one of the #5 driving the #15, and I need to do a vid of the #10 also.

Steven, That's a very worthy collection for a dedicated Jensen owner, you have some lovely pieces there. Sometimes I wish that there weren't so many prewar Mamods coming up on ebay, but we can't have verything - well done.
Cheers

I managed to add a recent addition to the collection, this is yet another ex Temple of Steam piece, which made it to the UK in a record time of just five days.
All credit to Roger here, as this really is a lovely example of a mid 80's #20.

Thats a beauty, good to see it has found a good home.

Jeez that looks great Griff...almost makes me want it back!!!
I don't know how you photograph things, but they seem to come out VERY clear without a lot of glare off the nickeled parts. I'm glad it made it in good shape...always on pins and needles til an engine does get there the way it left here.
Now...have you figured out how to get all your Jensens together on that trademark tablecloth??? Me thinks you need another table cloth and a bigger table to display the UK's finest collection of Jensens.
Videos...your fans need videos!!!

Great buy mate.
Another Rog masterpiece and no mistake.
Marvelous addition to the collection.

Ah that's a nice one
I see it has the gland on the front of the valve and the plug on the back like mine has. I think you indicated at one point that it's not present on your newer made one.
It would be interesting to compare todays product with the ones from the latter days of Mr J's time in the shop.
