grrrr

a kit I ordered (an Ezee brake van) has turned up minus the most important bits bar the wheels, the axleboxes!

what a silly error that now entails me chasing them
Graham-Jilly

made-in-england

now guys, I think a little too mich is expected of IP sometimes

if you have a small problem with a kit all you do is phone and tell em and they usually send you a whole new kit free of charge so they cant be that bad........

though I did get an earfull from his wife once..............

whats the story behind this then

well I called when they where shut and apparentley they had had the store number rewired to their home for emergenceys (although Im not sure what kind of kit related emergencies they expected) and his wife wasnt very happy that we had phoned in a non-emergency event.......

Wow, I was planning on ordering some things from them in the Fall, I might need to have what I buy sent to someone nearer to them so an inventory of parts could be made before it would turn into a year long project waiting for bits to arrive in the mail.

I'm still annoyed!

a 12 hour day at work is not best punctuated by errors such as this

I'm pleased as punch with my IP Jessie, saying that I've ditched all the electrics, built a replacement chassis, new motor, essel engineering steel bevel gears, RCS radio control, 14.4 V drill battery pack, fabricated some moulds to vacuum form enclosures for the electronics, new crank, new bearings, new wheelsets...

..next step a sound module to take advantage of the extra channel so it can have a decent little horn too, and a little circuit for R/C control of front and rear lighting.

I've no idea who or what IP is - but why would Mrs IP give a customer an ear bashing when they phone the advertised number with a concern?
Is the customer supposed to know that the call will be re-directed?

If I got any crap like that from a business large or small - the first time would be the last time.
pauly

When we phoned back a couple fo days later Mr ip answered and quite rightley appoligized for the wife....

this is ip, I buy alot from them and dont expect the greatest kits for the price but their new laser cut kits are just the best kits Iv built yet
