Like John, we've had nothing but rain today but that has not stopped the locals from shooting off fireworks in their driveways driving my 4 dogs insane. Within 45 min from now our little town hosts the 2nd largest fireworks display in Indiana (OK...capital Indianapolis gets #1)...we have been to it many times but can also get a grand view right from our front yard as we are less than 1/2 mile from the festivities. Another few hours and our golden retriever can exhale!!! Rog |

I watched the fireworks about 5 minutes ago over the Bay in my town. I didny really watch them but I saw the flickering through the trees.
The finale is always the best, the sky lights up really nice with orange and blue.

Weather was great here. 
We made a trip over to a neighboring state to get the "good" fireworks and lit those from 8 pm to about 12 pm. |

It was gray and damp here, rain by evening. Its raining now, so I can not cut the grass as planned. 
No fireworks this year. This is the first ime since I moved here in 2000, that there has not been fireworks!! 
Working 60+ hours a week now, we have an open book on overtime. Taking it while I can. o the nice 3 day weekend is quite welcome. Happy Birthday United States of America.
