It is indeed the 4th of July, our Independence Day. Independence from the English...but we won't go there.
Lots of fireworks can be heard all day today, my local city park holds one of the largest fireworks displays in the state of Indiana, we are close to the park and can watch it all from our front yard.
We have my grandson (2.5 years) visiting this week...he will be awestruck when darkness falls!!!

Thanks all for the birthday wishes for wee in the US of A...we had a right proper fireworks display last nite...our poor dogs, they couldn't sleep til 2 am (which meant we didn't sleep too well either!).

I am still camping, but we are in a huge campground that is basically a town in itself. There was a fireworks show here yesterday that my freind and i rode our quads to and watched them, we were right next to where they set them off.
