HARRY THE ROCKETI own a HARRY ROCKET and I know James owns 1 but I was just wondering if any other members here had an example of this metalic pile of puke?

My mate's Harry the Rocket is actually a steallar little runner. It has been slightly modified (reversibly) with Meccano sprockets and chain and has been modified to run on gauge 3 which fits the scale much better.

It's ugly as hell but it's not unique in that respect. I've heard it runs quite well.

I have seen them run well but that doesnt make up for a design that looks like the designer drew it blindfolded at an office party as a joke now does it.

I think it's still an essential "want" type engine, if you are into Mamods AND a loco fan. So it's not really on my list.

Just to add. That's not to say I don't like Locos. I think they are great. It's just I need a layout like yours Pauly, something I can add too as time goes on. I have plenty of space but with track costs/postage to here, I can't do it
