Hello from a newbieHi All
Would just like to say hello and say what a great forum this is. Recently dug out my dads old Steam Wagon and would like to get it up and steaming again. Have been trawling the internet for information last couple of weeks and found the forum during my searches. Will be posting some queries shortly regarding the project and hope you folks will be able to help. Please???!!

Thanks guys. I will post some pics as soon as possible. Unfortunately the wagon is missing the steering rod and the front axle is detached from the engine. I am unsure as to how the axle is attached to the engine and presume that it was held in by a rod similiar to the steering rod as remenants of it remain in the threaded hole on the top of the axle where it has sheared off. The whistle turns freely in its thread and there appears to be debris rolling around inside the boiler.

Not that big a problem as all parts are available for this so you just need to spend a few pounds to buy a replacement part
