Hello from MontrealHello everybody. I am a certified bicycle mechanic, a Matchbox and Hotwheels collector who recently got bitten by the Steam bug. I "restored" a Mamod SE1a and I am in the process of building a McCabe runner. This looks like a great place to hang out.

my beginning in "Modelengineering" started with a huge collection of aircooled VW models of any size: I once had a real beetle but now I own ca. 500 miniature aircooled VW´s ever since. The collection still grows !  Than came the live steam virus and infected me 15 years ago, since that day I topped my toy collection with 23 engines of which are 10 locomotives ! That brought me here and now I feel at home. So welcome again from northern Germany.
