hello therehi there i know ive been a member of the forum for some time, well i say some time 3/4 months but i never gave a formal introdution.
well my name is mitchell dolan as some of you might know already im just gone 16 and i live in walsall west midland, i started collecting mamod at the age of 12 my frist was a se1 i brought from a steam gala at the railway i worked at(chasewater light railway)
and i never quit know what it was untill my grandfather came down from london and told my what it was and a few mounth later it was my birthday and so he sent me a prestent, an sr1a that he had brought from new sadly the engine was too unsafe to steam and me being so young i did not have a clue on how to fix it, and with my grandfaters permistion i sold it for my very first te1a that cost £100 with a trailer i think i got a bit ripped off but i did not know at the time. but as i got older i found the wonderful world that is ebay i opened my account when i was 14 and started to buy and sell engine and by time it was my 15th birthday i had made over £200 and had 16 engine all in working order and well there ant much more after that just i found this wonderful forum and my mind was bloo from the vast array of people all over the world who have the same interestand some the same age, because as you start collecting you feel alone and like an out cast but when you talk to people on the same level as your self you get your spirt back.
any way thats me and i hope to meet most of you at some short of rally or show
thank you for reading
