Looks like a pretty cool little engine. I like the oiling port for the shaft and
is that a throttle in the front? Neat idea. He's taken extra measures to ensure
the trunion spring stays put!
Let us know how your friend fares with it. There's normally a brass block for the
cylinder to pivot against...it'll be interesting to see how it does with steel(aluminum?).

How big is the engine mate? What would be the rough size of the flywheel?

here's the tech specs of the engine-
piston.3/8" stroke 1/2".
flywheel 1 1/4"dia.
crankshaft 3/16".
requires 18 psi to start and can be throttled back to run at 10 psi.
