I decided to start the 2600 last weekend...I thought I'd have a play with one of my big engines.This is my donor car for my other SD1, I've nearly finished pinching all the bits I want off it, and I thought I'd see if the lump would still start, before I sell the remains. It's been standing unused for about 6 years in my ownership. I started it last on the day I got it. Before that it had spent 4 years rotting at the back of an MOT station, when the previous owner never returned to collect it. The fuel tank is gone, hence the need for the pipe and wiring to a fuel pump and jerry can off-screen to the right. http://www.youtube.com/v/fLad-Yj9jZI |

That's fair amazing. You have a way with mechanics few can touch.
To get an old disused engine to start that way--requires a deft mechanical intuition, even in the cranking and throttling. Well done video, great finish! Now go crush the remains
