I'm hoping my dad will lagg my water reserviour with wood...before Christmas 07.
at the moment, the reserviour on my steam plant BOILS the water in it.  yes, it gets that hot!

I've seen people use fibreglass mat and then wood strips held in place for lagging, if done right it looks real good.

hopefully, the work will begin in a week or so.
(depends on when my dad can cut the strips of wood)
A hose clip will hold the timber in. clip cost me $6.45 (AUD)

Is this rather expwnsive hoseclip going to be permanat Clinton, would n't it be better with a brass band of some kind

It's adjustable ,so it can be taken off, anytime.

Sounds like it's doing the same thing as an injector overflow pipe does, gains heat from the injector.
