I'm new here, from down underHi everyone, my names Abdul, 23, from Australia.
Bit of background info: I'm a IT worker from New South Wales, who has recently found some extra time to do things, which is always nice. My username (sarfraz) is a nickname I got when I started playing cricket many years ago. I had a neighbour, who is sadly not with us anymore, who had vast knowledge with steam. At his property, he used to host miniature steam locomotive rides, which he had tracks set up on his property. He also built a replica of a early Stanley Steam Car, with tiller steering, which I also had a ride in. During testing he drove it down the road, luckily he didn't get caught. That's where my interest in steam started. So too get back into the swing of things, I have purchased a Wilesco D366 Black Brass Roller. Also have purchased a RC kit with steering & forward/reverse controls. Also plans are too make a small trailer for it. Apart from that, I'm currently making a small engine model which I plan too run off compressed air at first. Abdul
