I Want a Bowman- this won't doSince I've been with the forum I have added a Bowman stationary unit to my want list. Thought I'd look for a two cylinder but now would be happy with any nice condition example.
Have this Bowman look-a-like but just won't do.
Took me awhile to find out what is was (Kudos to the first who can indentify) but can't help to note the similarities from the green base , steam exhaust to stack, and mechanism to a Bowman. Wonder if this was made to compete in the Bristish market?
Have a traction British traction engine, a Bowman loco, and a Mamod SW green but this won't do for that hole of a stationary engine.

I dont know what it is, but it has its charm. I see several features that made it look like a Bowman copy. Have you ran it? Oops I see the hole in the Boiler.

Have a number of toys in fairly good shape but missing something.
Have gotten plugs from Home Depot one of which will fit but haven't found the time to get many up and running.
My hat off to you and members like igy who get this things going.

The problem with a Bowman is that once you get one you realise how nice they are and then you want another and another and.....................

Mirko is right. it is a Bing made in three sizes 1927-32 but not badged although square on firebox where name would usually go.
A different look for them- were they trying to look like a Bowman?

I like those Bings very much. They appear on eBay very occasionally but I'd guess that there aren't that many of them in the UK... presumably they're more common on the continent.
