Identification Help Needed. Possibly a Bing.I have this upright engine, all brass construction, but I do not know the maker and there are no markings anywhere.
The base is 3" wide.
The boiler is 2" wide.
The whole engine including the chimney is 8 1/2" high.

I think this should be a very "cheap" Bing engine.
Bing made those mini-engine for the workin' mans small wallet

The larger upright of the two is unmarked, yet apart from size, they are nearly identical.

Did they make the chimneys tall enough on those horizontals?

Yes, and I am thinking of getting a couple of Wilesco ones to possibly use as replacements.

Hi!
According to the smoke stack could it be a "cheap" Weeden engine?
I think the top of the boiler is not usual for Bing steam engines...
Just an idea... Somebody can confirm?
