Identification Help Needed. Possibly a Bing.

I have this upright engine, all brass construction, but I do not know the maker and there are no markings anywhere.
The base is 3" wide.
The boiler is 2" wide.
The whole engine including the chimney is 8 1/2" high.

Les

Has anyone any ideas of who made this.

The wee thing really doesn't give many clues does it?! Sorry I can't help Les.

I think this should be a very "cheap" Bing engine.
Bing made those mini-engine for the workin' mans small wallet

The larger upright of the two is unmarked, yet apart from size, they are nearly identical.

Hopefully you will recognise the previous two I just added, and also these ones.

Did they make the chimneys tall enough on those horizontals?

Yes, and I am thinking of getting a couple of Wilesco ones to possibly use as replacements.

Hi!

According to the smoke stack could it be a "cheap" Weeden engine?

I think the top of the boiler is not usual for Bing steam engines...

Just an idea... Somebody can confirm?
