I went for one of them at Triumph
On the workshop test they'll be looking for you to use both hands and speed of work.
Just be yourself and look/sound interested in the job. Ask some questions and look them in the eye

-Do a bit of research on the company, so you can make intelligent remarks
-Prepare a couple of questions
-Try and look attentive and relaxed - don't slouch or twitch
-Look smart....clean shoes, clean smart clothes, but not sunday best, if you get my drift.
-When you get called in, walk up to the people who are interviewing you, look them in the eye, smile, shake their hands, and introduce yourself. Ladies first. Don't sit down until you're asked to do so.

Most important, be polite, dont use slang, and show respect to the interviewer and the Company. Also needless to say, be prompt, those who show up late to a job interview are not taken seriously.
Dont smoke beforehand, dont be chewing gum, and most of all smile.
Also, get a good nights sleep the night before, nothing looks worse than someone trying to stay awake.
I had 17 employees at one time and I can tell you that those who got the job did exactly what I am advising.

Give them a beefy handshake!

All good pointers, but especially James comment about a "beefy handshake"...none of that dead fish type that really turn me off when I meet someone. Look them straight in the eye and give a firm (not bone crushing) handshake...it speaks volumes!!!
