Jensen 35 arrives Chez MooseThanks to the legend that is Owen (Igy569) I am now the very proud new owner of this gorgeous Jensen 35.....Mooseling Jr approves!
Haven't run it yet.....that'll be a treat for when I'm a little less busy, but for now I'll just sit and admire it

If Mooseling Jr allows you to wait that long
Has Millie Mooseling lost all interest now?

Well Odilon, I've met the former owner of that baby and can vouch for him...you are in for a treat when you fire that up...they go like the blazes, one direction and hell bent to get there!!!
Your son looks mighty interested.

I do believe that engine actually visited the Water Closet of Steam and the Temple too, if I recall Rog worked some magic on it, I do like the 35, they were very popular for the time they were produced, cant wait to see the video.

I think you are right John...Owen brought that to the Temple when you guys visited...it needed the sight glass guard reattached if I recall. Small world!

Thanks guys, nice to know that engine has been handled by so many of my friends!
Roly, Millie is mostly interested in the social aspects of steaming now, so she loves coming with me to STiA etc.....she still treasures her own little Jensen (a gift from a very kind and well-known member here ), but that's kind of where her interest ends.......Daniel can't get enough of it, but he doesn't quite have his sister's fine motor skills.....it'll come

That's a great sight but I not sure if Mrs Moose is as convinced as Moose Jnr.

She wasn't too impressed with us taking over the table just before dinner

I love seeing something I revived from the dead bringing joy to others. That is a well travel engine indeed. That is the same one that went to Indiana with me. John and I fired his and mine side by side, and Roger did reattach the wire guard for me. (I felt a bit foolish when I saw how it went on!)
Just a tip, you need to fiddle with the trunnion screw a bit to get the tension right, or she runs slow... also, careful. she likes to prime...
That is one of my favorites, and I ran it a lot. I miss it right now, cause I have not reassembled the other one I have yet. (need parts)
Sorry about the scratch on the firebox... I dropped a pair of vise grips on it...
Enjoy!!

Great to see the pics mate.
Looks like a cracker.
Good to see Daniel taking an interest as well.
In the future I can see Daniel doing the practical work, while Millie attends to the PR work at Mooseland.
You'll of course be managing director, being waited on hand and foot, and having the final say in the acquiring of new engines.
Yea, right.

Great addition Moose, this Jensen is very nice, I love it with its wooden base . Quickly a video will be great ! Moose Jr is as impatient as you to see the Jensen working, no ?
