Jensen bits arrived today

Jensen25 boiler with firebox

220volt heater- Australian power is 240volt- should I worry

whistle

chimney

Clinton, I would not worry about the 20 volt difference, in the life of the heater it "might" shorten it a percent or two...should heat up a tad faster as well!

Nice looking parts!

No problems with the heater. The rating system allows for a 10%, plus or minus, variance in applied voltage, which covers your 240 volt requirement nicely.

Looks good Clinton, I love getting things in the post.  Interesting project you have going on.  Are you mounting it on a polished timber base ?

thanks.  yeah it felt like  Christmas!

I'll mount it temporarily on my Jensen75 base ,then when I get a good piece of wood- I'll put it on that.

thanks Rog and James.

should take 2 or 3 weekends (or whenever my dad has time to get some timber together)

It'll be a father & son thing.

Looks good Clinton, make sure you use an earht leakage device between the engine and the power point - even if you have one fitted to the house.  240v AC and water don't mix,     .

Cheers
